A historic peace deal was signed by Israel, Bahrain, and the UAE at the White House recently. This deal was brokered by none other than President Trump. For his efforts, Trump has received numerous nominations for the Nobel Peace Prize. This most recent nomination should have happened a long time ago but better late than never.
Christian Tybring-Gjedde is the Norwegian Parliament member who is responsible for nominating Trump the first time around. The Israel-UAE deal received a lot of attention and rightfully so. These are the deals that Barack Obama and Joe Biden could not get done. His second nomination was provided by Magnus Jacobsson.
The Kosovo-Serbia Peace Agreement was a tough nut to crack. This is the type of agreement that most would have been skeptical about before. “I have today nominated the United States administration and the governments of Kosovo and Serbia to the Nobel Peace Prize for their joint work for peace and economic development, through the cooperation agreement signed in the White House. Trade and communications are important building blocks for peace,” said Jacobsson at the time.
As for the most recent nomination? This one comes from Laura Huhtasaari, who happens to be a member of the right-wing Finns Party and an MEP. Laura nominated Trump for the 2021 prize “in recognition of his endeavors to end the era of endless wars, construct peace by encouraging conflicting parties for dialogue and negotiations, as well as underpin internal cohesion and stability of his country.”
We certainly can’t argue with her there. Trump was responsible for the strengthening of NATO, he brought the sort of peace agreements to the Middle East that no one thought possible and successfully isolated the Iran terror regime. Trump’s exposal of the failed North Korean state is also worthy of praise. These are the achievements that the hysterical left does not want you to know about.
Now, the Debate Commission has decided that they are going to work even harder to keep this information away from the American people. The next presidential debate between Trump and Biden is rapidly approaching.
Joe was able to escape the last scheduled bout but there is nothing that can be done this time. He’s going to have to answer for himself directly and there’s no pandemic related excuse that he can fall back on.
Biden will still do his best to focus on the coronavirus anyway. Since they can’t make any attacks that are related to foreign policy, they will stick to the usual shtick. That means lots of COVID-19 fear-mongering and general hatred of Trump is on the docket. That’s all they know and that’s all they are capable of at this point.
The featured topics for this debate are as follows: Fighting COVID-19; American Families; Race in America; Climate Change; National Security; and Leadership. Doesn’t that seem awfully similar to the last debate?
In case you think we are kidding, the topics were Covid-19; The Economy; Race and Violence in our Cities; The Integrity of the Election; The Supreme Court; and Trump and Biden’s Records.
Since the Commission is clearly pulling the strings for Biden, this reeks of them trying to make his life easier by giving him less homework to do. It’s hard for him to memorize all of the talking points that he is being given on a regular basis. The challenge gets even harder when you cannot remember which lie you are telling on which day.
Biden has barely been able to build a lead in the polls without all of this tinkering in his favor which really makes you think. If this is the best that he can do when they are tipping the scales to his benefit, what would have happened in a fair and just election?
Unfortunately, no one who truly cares about democracy will ever have a chance to find out about that side of the equation.
