Hillary Clinton Calls the White House 'Rubble' — Apparently Forgot What Bill Did to the Place

Hillary Clinton, former Secretary of State and professional sore loser, took to X on May 29 to describe President Trump's White House as "rubble" and "a cage match." Of all the people on planet Earth who should probably sit out any conversation about the condition of the White House, Hillary Rodham Clinton is number one on that list.

The lack of self-awareness is genuinely breathtaking. Even for her.

Carl Higbie had the perfect response: "Sit this one out, Hillary. Your husband turned the Oval Office into his personal playground with Monica Lewinsky." That's not even the half of it, but it's a solid start.

Let's take a quick trip down memory lane for the younger folks. When the Clinton administration left the White House in January 2001, outgoing staff literally vandalized the place. We're talking removed W keys from keyboards, obscene messages left for incoming Bush staffers, furniture that mysteriously walked out the door — some of which the Clintons had to return after getting caught. The GAO documented it. This actually happened.

And that's just the physical damage. Bill Clinton turned the Lincoln Bedroom into a fundraising perk and the Oval Office into... well, we all know what he turned the Oval Office into. The man was impeached for lying about what he did in that building. But sure, Hillary, let's talk about the current condition of the White House.

What prompted her meltdown? Temporary construction related to the America 250 celebration — the 250th anniversary of American independence. The White House announced plans for a UFC event on June 14, 2026, as part of year-long festivities running from Memorial Day 2025 through the end of 2026. As the White House put it: "With a single sheet of parchment and 56 signatures, America began the greatest political journey in human history."

So Trump is celebrating America's birthday with a massive patriotic event, and Hillary calls it "rubble." The woman who lost to Trump — twice if you count the influence she had on Biden's campaign — cannot stand watching him enjoy the house she was supposed to live in. That's all this is. It was always all this was.

CBS12 reported on her comments May 30, treating them like legitimate political commentary rather than what they obviously are: the bitter ramblings of someone who will never, ever get over November 2016.

Here's a free tip, Hillary. When your husband's staff trashed the White House on the way out, when your husband got impeached for what he did inside the White House, and when you lost your shot at living in the White House by running the worst campaign in modern history — maybe don't comment on the White House.

Just a thought.
