The Guy Who Told You to 'Follow the Science' Was Allegedly Hiding It — Under Oath, a CIA Officer Just Said So

A CIA special operations officer named James Erdman III sat in front of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee on May 13, 2026, and told the entire country what we already knew — Dr. Anthony Fauci deliberately buried evidence that COVID came from a lab in Wuhan. Not a rumor. Not a blog post. Sworn public testimony, on camera, naming Fauci directly.

But sure, we were the conspiracy theorists.

Erdman didn't mince words. "Dr. Fauci's role in the cover-up was intentional," he testified. "Dr. Fauci influenced the analytical process." He told the committee that back in August 2021, the intelligence community was closing in on the conclusion that the virus leaked from the Wuhan lab — and then, days later, the position reversed without explanation. Just like that. Poof. Nothing to see here, folks, go get your fourth booster.

It gets better. According to Erdman's testimony, "There were agencies within the IC circulating papers… that said that all the conditions were present for a lab leak." Multiple agencies — including the Defense Intelligence Agency — had scientists saying the same thing between 2021 and 2023. And every single time, the conclusion got buried.

Senator Rand Paul, who's been chasing Fauci like a bloodhound since the pandemic started, backed it up from the dais. "Scientific analysts concluded multiple times between 2021 and 2023 that a lab leak was the most likely origin," Paul said. He also drove home the point that matters: "Closed-door testimony doesn't provide oversight. Public testimony provides oversight." That's why this hearing happened in the open. No more backroom briefings where everything gets classified into oblivion.

And here's the kicker that should make your blood boil. Senator Bernie Moreno, Republican from Ohio, looked around the hearing room and asked the question nobody in Washington ever seems to ask: "All these hearings are important. What you said is super critical… But where is the accountability?"

Good question, Senator.

Moreno then painted the picture perfectly: "Anthony Fauci is sitting sipping margaritas somewhere with his multi-million dollar financial success." While the rest of us lost businesses, buried family members we couldn't visit in the hospital, and watched our kids fall two years behind in school — the man who orchestrated the cover-up is living large. Accountability? In Washington? That's adorable.

Senator Ron Johnson wasn't having the usual Senate theater either. "This committee needs an apology!" Johnson demanded. "This is not political theater. This is what the American people need to see." He's right. This isn't about scoring points. People died. Millions of them. And the guy America trusted to tell us the truth was allegedly making sure we never got it.

Erdman also dropped another bombshell that's gotten less attention but deserves more. He testified that investigators looking into the lab-leak origin were themselves surveilled — illegally. "These were Americans being spied on illegally while carrying out duties directed by the President," Erdman said. So not only did Fauci allegedly bury the science, but the people trying to dig it up got the spy treatment. The deep state protecting its own. Shocking.

Oh, and you'll love this detail — the Democrats on the committee? Largely absent. Senator Ruben Gallego, Democrat from Arizona, was one of the few who even bothered to show up. The rest apparently had better things to do than hear testimony about the biggest public health cover-up in American history. Priorities.

Let's remember the timeline here, because it matters. The Biden administration, after losing the 2024 election, directed the CIA to produce an assessment on COVID origins — what amounted to a cleanup operation to muddy the waters one last time before leaving office. Then in April 2025, the White House released a comprehensive lab-leak assessment that finally acknowledged what everyone with a functioning brain already knew. And now we have a CIA officer on the record saying the cover-up was intentional and it came from the top.

We spent three years being called dangerous misinformation spreaders for saying exactly what a CIA officer just said under oath. We got banned from social media. We got "fact-checked" by twentysomethings with journalism degrees and no sources. We got told to shut up and trust the "experts."

The experts lied. We were right. And Anthony Fauci should be answering questions under oath himself — not sipping margaritas, as reported by ZeroHedge.
