Under the failed leadership of Ronna Romney McDaniel, the Republican National Committee was woefully unprepared to deal with the aftermath of the fake and stolen 2020 election. That’s not going to happen in 2024. In 2020, there were almost no state-level attorneys hired to issue challenges to the obvious election fraud that took place. The RNC was also underequipped when it came to poll watchers to keep an eye on things. That has all dramatically changed under the new leadership of Lara Trump.
According to a memo sent out last week, the RNC has recruited hundreds of thousands of election integrity poll watchers for this year, as well as thousands of in-state attorneys to issue election challenges. The RNC has also held thousands of trainings to prepare for what is expected to be another attempt by the Democrats to steal a presidential election.
The memo states that the RNC has recruited 219,712 volunteers to watch the polls before and on Election Day. In 2020, Republicans only had somewhere between 30,000 and 40,000 poll watchers. It never occurred to us that they would be so brazen as to attempt to steal a presidential election on live TV. The RNC also has 5,077 attorneys recruited to issue challenges at the state level.
Here’s just one example of why this is going to make a huge difference in 2024. After the 2020 election, there were hundreds of reports of “anomalies,” discrepancies, and allegations of fraud in Nevada. The RNC hadn’t recruited any attorneys in Nevada to issue challenges. To help out the Trump campaign and investigate the integrity of the elections, a group of attorneys from Los Angeles drove up to Las Vegas with former Trump official Ric Grenell to investigate.
They quickly determined that 15 of Nevada’s 17 counties had more ballots cast than the number of registered voters. When they sued, the judge claimed that the plaintiffs “lacked standing” because the attorneys and investigators were all from California. This became the rinse-and-repeat tactic that the scaredy-cat courts relied on over and over again because the RNC didn’t have attorneys ready to go in all the states.
Rudy Giuliani sued multiple swing states and every single time, the cases were dismissed “without standing” because he was from New York. The courts refused to ever look at the mountains of evidence of voter fraud that provably took place in Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan.
There have also been numerous lawsuits and election integrity measures that have been passed since 2020 that will ensure we don’t have a repeat. Georgia will require a hand count of all ballots this year, and those hand counts—conducted in front of witnesses from both parties—must match the machine counts. Otherwise, the results can’t be certified. Just a simple change like that has been enough to get the Harris campaign to abandon spending any money in Georgia this year. They know they’re going to lose.
Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R) signed an executive order mandating paper ballots that will be counted on manual machines that can’t connect to the internet. New Hampshire is requiring tamper-resistant tape on all ballot boxes before they can be transported from precincts to counting centers.
All these new changes add up to a much more secure and safe election for Donald Trump than the fake and stolen election of 2020. Pollsters are just now starting to tepidly admit that Trump could win the popular vote this November, because of the way the Harris campaign is flailing. Don’t be discouraged into not voting next month! This isn’t going to be a repeat of the nonsense we saw in 2020.
